About this piece

This limited edition ring has been designed in celebration of “The Boodles NG200 Garden” this year, primarily inspired by the painting The Water-Lily Pond, 1899 by Claude Monet. Featuring diamonds and multi-gems and set in Single Mine Origin gold, Rebecca Hawkins, Director of Design at Boodles and Catherine Macdonald, Designer of the NG200 garden, worked closely to tie the design of the ring and the garden together. The colours within the painting are the same palette as the colours that Catherine chose in her planting scheme, so the ring relates directly to the garden.

This Play of Light design ring set with diamonds and multi-gems in 18 carat Single Mine Origin pink gold. The total weight of the oval cut certificated diamond is 0.50 carats D VS2, brilliant cut diamonds is 0.40 carats and carré cut diamonds is 0.09 carats. The total weight of the brilliant and baguette cut multi-coloured sapphires is 1.05 carats, round brilliant cut and baguette cut rubies is 0.27 carats. The total weight of the baguette and brilliant cut tsavorites is 0.43 carats. Part of the National Gallery Collection.
