Boodles Celebrates 220th Anniversary

Today, Boodles continues to champion exemplary British craftsmanship. To celebrate its 220th anniversary, Boodles is unveiling a spectacular new necklace for 2018: one of the most exciting designs in the company’s history. As well as a very special collaboration with Patek Philippe: the launch of the World Time Special Series Ref. 5230G-012.
The 220th Anniversary necklace represents the vibrant past, present and future of Boodles. Diamond-set threads flow forwards from the clasp; signifying the past, then weave forwards and unite at the centre to represent the present, and from there stream downwards to signify the different strands of Boodles future.
A collection of 93 rare and exceptional D-colour Ashoka cut diamonds are set at balanced intervals, representing the achievements and key figures of Boodles throughout time. The inclusion of pink diamonds references Boodles pale pink brand colour, which is an integral part of the brand DNA.
For the first time in history, Liverpool makes World Time, to celebrate Boodles anniversary
The iconic self-winding Patek Philippe World Time watch, highly coveted by frequent flyers and collectors, is being adapted with a reference to Liverpool as one of the 24 time zones, replacing London for this exclusive model. The word ‘Liverpool’, birthplace of Boodles will be included in pink, and the 220th Anniversary of Boodles is engraved on the back of the timepiece.
The design of the Special Series has a vintage feel, with classic monochrome colours, a black ebony lacquered dial, set in white gold with a matte black alligator-leather strap. The centre of the watch features hand-guilloched decors and basket weave motif. Produced in 18 carat white gold, and in a strictly limited series of just 50 pieces, Boodles is proud to offer this special watch to its customers.
