This year marks a special chapter in Boodles’ story, celebrating 25 years of one of our most cherished and iconic designs. Two and a half decades on from the collection’s inception, Boodles’ Raindance still sparkles on—now in its boldest setting to date, featuring the rarest of stones, Argyle pink diamonds.
It was during a visit to the quintessentially British Chelsea Flower Show twenty-five years ago that Boodles’ Director of Design, Rebecca Hawkins, was captivated by the play of light on the raindrops she saw. Inspired by this enchanting spectacle, she designed the Raindance Collection—a platinum-set collection reminiscent of sprinkled raindrops glistening in the sun. Twenty-five years later, almost to the day, Boodles’ garden this year is called the Boodles Raindance Garden, inspired by the collection’s design.

Chosen as an enduring icon of British design, the Raindance ring is showcased in the Victoria and Albert Museum’s permanent jewellery exhibition, Best of British Design, making the location a fitting setting for the launch of our newest collection: Raindance 25.

With this new collection, soft-coloured pink diamonds bring warmth to the classically white diamond pieces, much like sunlight breaking through after a spring rain. Raindance 25 doesn’t just commemorate a design—it celebrates the beauty of the British outdoors and the individuality that Boodles is all about. It’s a nod to where we’ve come from and the joy of reimagining something iconic in a way that’s both rare and remarkable with the inclusion of pink diamonds.
An Anniversary Collection
To mark the anniversary of these pieces that are so synonymous with Boodles, Raindance 25 is an anniversary collection that adds a new twist to the classic designs: exceptional pieces featuring rare, beautiful pink diamonds from the Argyle Mine, set among the classic white diamonds that have come to define the original design. The Raindance design has always been about capturing a moment—the playful, scattered droplets you see on a quiet, rainy day. A quintessentially British scene, and a bit like Boodles itself… fun, unique, and British to the core.
